I went to school with Ben in Staten Island. I always thought he was just an Italian with a birth defect. Poor kid. Now that I know he’s Korean, it all makes sense. Sorry Ben. My bad.
I live in Gaithersburg, MD now and the most annoying accent in the world to me is a Maryland accent. Yes there is one. I’ve been living in Maryland for 16 years. And every time I hear a Maryland accent, I just want to punch someone in the frikkin’ face and ask ‘em “What the #$@% is wrong wit choo? Where’d joo learn how to tawk? That frikkin’ accent is so frikkin’ annoyin’. Howzabout I take a dump in your mout? I bet then you’d stop tawkin’ like a frikkin’ jackass.”
I lost my New York accent years ago. But, while it is gone from my mouth, it remains in my head. Thank frikkin’ goodness.
Ben, I can’t wait to see the movie. You’re gonna end Snookie’s 15 minutes and begin your own. If only for the laughs you gave me in school, I hope yours lasts a lot longer than 15 minutes.
I work with Ben, he’s the man! The original staten island Asian! “stasian” lolol
I went to elementary school with Ben!!
My mother was born in China, but has a New Jersey accent from doing most of her growing up there.
In addition to the accent, he has the right body language aND facial expressions.
